“I wanted to reach out and send you and your team a big “thank you” for the project y’all completed at Galleria 400 last month. Brian Stokes (Big Brian) and Brian Chappell headed the project along with several other team members. We had a 600lb., 40hp motor on our outside air intake fan system that failed after 13 years of continuous use. The motor was located on the roof of our 18-story high rise and was 16 feet above the fan intake system. I quoted the job of replacing the motor to several mechanical contractors but was really hoping that your team would provide a competitive bid and, as usual, your team came through.

Big Brian was quickly out on-site to evaluate the project and make a safe and quick game plan to change out the hefty motor. Brian is a little bit of a rock star at the Galleria properties and has an outstanding reputation to see a job through no matter what the circumstances are. I know that I am not the only Engineering Chief that owes him a lunch and a huge pat on the back. The project took three days to complete and in between Brian attended to several other high priority jobs around town. Though the project had its complications, it was completed efficiently and professionally. Both Brian Stokes and Brian Chappell were on site to make sure the roof was protected while the work was being carried out and they were very diligent about keeping my team informed on the progress.

I can’t praise these guys enough for the reliable, thorough and professional job they did on our property. “I have been using Legacy Mechanical Services, Inc. for over five years now. I started out using them for smaller HVAC and plumbing repairs as well as smaller tenant improvements in some of my commercial buildings. I quickly realized that they had the expertise and the personnel to handle much larger and more complicated projects. Legacy has now completed multiple large scale mechanical, plumbing and tenant improvement projects for Winthrop.

One of the mechanical projects that stands out in my mind is a 145 ton Energy Recovery RTU that needed a complete replacement wheel assembly, including frame, bearings, drives and wheels. This project required the utilization of a crane to fly off the old wheel assembly and fly the new assembly up to the roof. The entire project was completed on a Sunday afternoon and for a fraction of the overall cost of their competition. Legacy also completed a recent 100,000 square-foot build-out for Winthrop in the Central Perimeter real estate market. They not only completed this tenant improvement project well ahead of schedule, but the overall quality of their work exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Legacy to anyone in the commercial industry who is in need of a reliable, cost-effective, quality mechanical contractor.”
